To help prepare for my upcoming undergrad Creative Nonfiction class next week, I purchased a copy of Ma'am Hidalgo's "Creative Nonfiction: A Manual for Filipino Writers". I absolutely salivate over new books. They're just so... smooth, and so ready to be creased and written in /evil laughter.

 I must admit that I was kind of nervous on that first Non-Fiction class with Prof. Hidalgo. Being a 300 class, and with no 200-level CNF classes to back me up, even Sir Neil thought it was a bit risky. So I was quite pleased to find out I had Hammed and Kuya Doy as classmates, and even Tita Vivs is going to sit in for the term, naga-adik lang.

My head is so tired I just want to stay in bed all day. These are the times when I hope I come down with something just so I can have a legit excuse not to worry about anything at all.

But then I remember that I no longer have insurance, and that would just worry me more.

Nothing to do but soldier on.
